We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Drafter to join our team at CDM Smith. As a Civil Design Drafter, you will be responsible for preparing construction drawings using intelligent modeling and/or CADD. Your duties will include leading teams to prepare basic to highly complex construction drawings, utilizing advanced CADD drafting/design techniques, and performing CADD/technical support tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare construction drawings using intelligent modeling and/or CADD
  • Lead teams to prepare basic to highly complex construction drawings
  • Utilize advanced CADD drafting/design techniques
  • Perform CADD/technical support tasks

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling
  • 6 years of relevant experience
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience with water and wastewater pipeline design/utility relocation
