At SEnergy, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Distribution Project Coordinator to join our team in Boerne. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

This role is responsible for designing, scheduling resources, and leading technical efforts for electrical substation, transmission, or distribution projects. As an Electrical Distribution Project Coordinator, you will be working closely with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Staying up-to-date with changing technology and methodologies associated with Electric Distribution design;
  • Representing SEnergy and clients during meetings with stakeholders, including property owners, engineering firms, and construction services;
  • Ensuring adherence to client standards for developing detailed scope and engineering plans for projects;
  • Designing projects from start to finish, including preparing drawings, visual aids, staking sheets, engineering studies, permit applications, material testing, CADD work, reviewing, and editing specifications;
  • Performing transmission and distribution line design calculations, researching and investigating, acquiring permit applications, coordinating CADD work with team members, and assisting in scheduling and budgeting requirements for projects;
  • Maintaining good project documentation, including calculations, telephone conversations, design decisions, rationale, and filing copies of all pertinent information;
  • Attending project meetings with clients to coordinate design and address any issues;
  • Quality controlling project work to maintain expected standards for project deliverables, including CAD work, ensuring accurate scales, proper spelling, formatting, and completeness;
  • Developing and maintaining positive professional relationships with key client personnel;
  • Assisting in preparing project schedules and budgets for timely completion;
  • Preparing project status reports and delivering them to clients in a consistent and timely manner;
  • Coordinating and assigning tasks to entry-level engineers, field technicians, or administrative staff;
  • Accountable for resolving technical engineering conflicts affecting cost, schedule quality, or customer satisfaction;
  • Mentoring and/or training other staff members to transfer personal design knowledge;
  • Performing administrative duties as required, including mailings, office supply, and documentation reproductions;
  • Completing timesheets daily with project summaries in the invoicing standard format and preparing accurate and complete invoice letter write-ups for project work in accordance with the company's standard format;
