Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, including bearings, belts, lubrication, coupling alignment, gearboxes, pumps, and conveyor systems.
- Conduct facility maintenance tasks such as landscaping, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general building upkeep.
- Execute preventive maintenance inspections and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Utilize SAP and other Lactalis systems for maintenance management and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects and work orders efficiently.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of electrical circuits and perform troubleshooting on electrical systems.
- Participate in the development of preventive maintenance plans and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Maintenance A+ certification or equivalent experience in an industrial setting.
- Basic knowledge of packaging, processing, and utility equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
