Medical Assistant Role

As a Medical Assistant at Baylor Scott & White Health, you will play a vital role in supporting doctors by providing patient care and performing delegated medical tasks. Your responsibilities will include maintaining records, administering medication and injections, and recording vital signs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Examine and treat patients under the guidance of a physician
• Prepare exam rooms, clean before and after procedures, and restock supplies
• Assist patients with medical procedures, tests, and x-rays
• Monitor vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height
Requirements:
• Completion of high school or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
