Social Services Specialist

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker III to provide intensive social work services to adults in need. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, families, and community resources to assess, intervene, and provide support to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments and investigations to identify and address potential risks and threats to vulnerable adults.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to provide support and services to clients, including counseling, case management, and advocacy.
- Collaborate with community resources, including healthcare providers, mental health professionals, and law enforcement, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Provide expert testimony in court proceedings as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, assessments, and interventions.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices in adult protective services.
- Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult protective services or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in electronic case management systems and other relevant software.
