CT Technologist II/RAD Specialist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist II/RAD to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a CT Technologist II/RAD, you will be responsible for performing CT scan examinations of selected portions of the anatomy as requested by clinicians. You will work closely with our radiology team to ensure high-quality images are obtained for interpretation by radiologists.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform CT scan procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and procedures within standard time frames. 2. Maintain equipment in good operating condition and operate equipment according to department and manufacturer's recommendations. 3. Prepare and orient patients to procedures. 4. Cooperate and help colleagues, staff, patients, and visitors in a clear and courteous manner. 5. Maintain and exhibit current knowledge of CT scan technology and participate in continuing education. 6. Perform radiologic procedures in accordance with departmental protocols when not assigned to CT scan duties. 7. Keep current on issues with radiation safety and patient care.
Requirements:
1. Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT) and (CT) (or registry eligible). To keep position, must become (CT) within 18 months. 2. Current licensure by the State of Maine as required by the Medical Radiation Health and Safety Act.
