Job Summary:

Northern Light Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment in good operating condition and operate equipment according to department and manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Prepare and orient patients to the procedure.
  • Be cooperative and helpful in a clear and courteous manner to co-workers, staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Maintain and exhibit a current knowledge of radiological technology and participate in continuing education.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as Radiologic Technologist Required.
  • Specialty certifications a plus in areas of CT, etc.

Working Conditions:

  • Potential exposure to diseases or infections.
  • Potential exposure to hazardous materials.
  • Potential exposure to noise levels being uncomfortable.
  • Lifting, moving and loading 30 to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of kneeling.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Prolonged periods of walking.

Credentials:

  • Required Radiologic Tech-Radiographer
  • Education:
    • Required High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED)
