Internship Opportunity: Photography and Visual Storytelling

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Photography Intern. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the sports industry, specifically in the field of photography and visual storytelling.

Responsibilities:
  • Document the entire baseball season at Joe Faber Field, capturing high-quality photographs of players, coaches, and game-day events.
  • Take numerous action photos of each player throughout the season, showcasing their skills and achievements.
  • Produce headshots of each player and coach, highlighting their personalities and expertise.
  • Photograph various aspects of the game, including pre-game events, game-day sponsors, giveaways, first pitch, signage, on-field promotions, hospitality areas, specific group outings, and game-day experience.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials, including photographs and visual content.
  • Organize and edit photos for the team's Flickr account, ensuring they are properly labeled and easily accessible.
  • Collaborate with the front office to meet the needs of corporate partners and group leaders.
  • Attend community events, such as player appearances at schools, to capture additional photography opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic and ability to succeed.
  • Comfortable interacting with large crowds and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Own photography equipment and computer for editing.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and take 300-400 photos per game.
  • Minimum one year of experience in photography.
  • Graphic design efficiency in Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Ability to move quickly throughout the ballpark.
  • Availability for all home games and extended hours, including weeknights and weekends.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
