Job SummaryWe are seeking a creative and collaborative mental health professional to join our team. As an outpatient mental health therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating mental health diagnoses, creating and implementing treatment plans, and providing ongoing documentation.
Responsibilities- Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create treatment plans
- Provide ongoing documentation, including case notes and treatment plan reviews
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve goals
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings
- Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university
- On-track to obtain licensure in a designated field
- Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Fully licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC) with a valid state of Illinois license
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families
- Knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and mental health documentation
- Full-time W-2 based compensation
