Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Health First. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and administering medications to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
  • Conduct radiation safety tasks and follow BRC guidelines
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
  • Participate in quality initiatives and contribute to departmental improvements
Requirements
  • Graduate of a JRCNMT Nuclear Medicine Program
  • Current license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the State of Florida
  • Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Prior Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a stressful environment and respond to life-threatening situations
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 40 pounds, and wear lead aprons for extended periods. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
