Note: Our operations run continuously, with shifts structured as 12 hours on a rotating schedule of 2 days on, 2 days off, followed by 3 days on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the safe and efficient functioning of machinery to produce quality products, adhering to established best practices.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Maintain compliance with documented quality and operational standards to safeguard our partners' brands.
  • Set up, operate, adjust, and maintain end line machinery effectively.
  • Promote the Trivium Production System (TPS) to foster team development through effective communication and standardized problem-solving processes.
  • Perform troubleshooting on equipment to rectify defects as necessary.
  • Assist with trial runs, sorting defective products, and addressing mechanical issues.
  • Operate forklifts as required, following internal certification protocols.
  • Adhere to safety regulations, including BRC Food Safety Standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental policies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic proficiency in computer and mathematical skills.
  • Preferred: Professional certification or license in industrial or mechanical skills.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing is advantageous.

Compensation:

  • Starting pay range: $24.42 per hour.

Physical Requirements:

This role demands physical capabilities to fulfill essential job functions. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

While executing job duties, employees are regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and use hands to handle tools and controls. Frequent reaching with hands and arms is necessary, and occasional kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required. The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds is essential. Specific vision requirements include close and distance vision as well as color recognition.

Work Environment: The noise level in the production area is typically high, necessitating the use of hearing protection and other assigned personal protective equipment. Temperatures may vary, and the atmosphere may contain fumes, dust, and odors.
