About the Role

Children's Mercy KC is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Master's Social Worker to join our team. As a key member of our social work department, you will play a vital role in identifying and intervening with at-risk populations to mitigate psychosocial barriers to optimal care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans in conjunction with internal and external team members.
  • Provide clinical services and interventions to children, adolescents, and adult patients/families/staff.
  • Collaborate with care coordination teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage practice operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • 1-2 years of experience in social work, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) in Kansas or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker Specialist (LSCSW) in Kansas, required upon hire.
  • Within 90 days, obtain licensure as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) in Missouri or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Missouri.
