AP Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented AP Specialist to join our team at Ambassador Supply LLC. As an AP Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process.

• Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other programs, including establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Obtain and maintain vendor COI, W9's, and assist with annual 1099 preparation.
• Compare order acknowledgements and vendor invoices with purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges, and follow up on discrepancies.
• Assign vendor invoices to proper accounts, jobs or inventory.
• Ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner, while adhering to departmental procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate's degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
• 2-3 years of accounts payable experience.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Comfortable with math and calculations.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Legal work authorization in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
• Position based onsite.
