Role Summary:

A Lounge Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests by engaging with patrons and fulfilling their beverage requests. Mastery in mixing drinks with a wide array of ingredients, including spirits, bitters, sodas, and fresh fruits, is essential for success in this role. It is vital to take drink orders from both customers and waitstaff, ensuring meticulous attention to detail throughout the service process.

Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, this position requires availability on weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a fully stocked bar with a diverse selection of spirits, beers, wines, mixers, ice, and necessary accessories.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the bar, tables, chairs, and work areas to uphold a hygienic environment.
  • Organize the bar space to enhance efficiency in drink preparation and inventory management.
  • Place orders for beverages and supplies as needed.
  • Prepare fruit garnishes for cocktails by slicing and pitting.
  • Design and plan bar menus.
  • Invent and create signature cocktails.
  • Serve light snacks or appetizers to patrons at the bar.
  • Adhere to all food and beverage safety regulations.
  • Manage customer interactions to minimize issues related to alcohol consumption.
  • Verify the legal drinking age of all customers through identification checks.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests.
  • Evaluate customer preferences and suggest drink options accordingly.
  • Handle cash transactions for drinks served and provide accurate change.
  • Balance cash receipts at the end of shifts.
  • Must possess authorization to work in the U.S.
