Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angioplasty, stenting, and other cardiovascular procedures
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring proper disposal of biohazardous materials
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and technologies
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
