TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Texas.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiography, and vascular interventions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including catheters, guidewires, and imaging equipment.
- Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical history, test results, and procedure notes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
