Position Overview: The Accounting Analyst II will take charge of executing account reconciliations on both a daily and monthly basis, along with conducting thorough account analyses. This role will also support the monthly financial closing process, including the preparation of general ledger entries. The position operates under general supervision and escalates any discrepancies to senior accountants or managers for review.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitates the monthly closing cycle by preparing, uploading, and posting financial journal entries while conducting various financial analyses.
- Conducts comprehensive analyses of general ledger accounts to verify the accuracy of recorded transactions.
- Prepares detailed balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of account balances.
- Provides necessary documentation and responds to inquiries from external auditors regarding various audit analyses.
- Assists different business units with accounting and financial systems inquiries.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
