Position Summary

(Eligible for a sign-on bonus) The Lead Technician role requires your expertise in diagnosing drivability and electrical systems, while utilizing your leadership and mentoring abilities to enhance customer care and satisfaction.

Pay Range: $32.18

Our technicians benefit from a performance-based compensation model known as flat-rate pay, which rewards skilled professionals with a predetermined amount for each eligible task, promoting efficiency and ensuring fair compensation for your expertise and commitment.

Responsibilities

+ Diagnose and repair automotive systems to specifications.

+ Address brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.

+ Clearly communicate technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to non-technical individuals. Stay updated with rapidly evolving automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.

+ Support fellow technicians in performing technical tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Must possess a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be capable of driving customer and company vehicles.

+ A minimum of 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, or demonstrated skills through third-party certifications/assessments.

+ A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8 is required. New hires with similar external qualifications/certifications will have up to 2 years of employment to comply.

+ Maintain Federal, State, and Local certifications/licenses where applicable.

+ Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.

+ Proficient reading, writing, and math skills.
