Job Summary

We are seeking a PRN per diem Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. This is a flexible opportunity that allows you to work on an as-needed basis, providing physical therapy services to acute care patients throughout the organization under the direction of an occupational therapist and collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will provide physical therapy services to acute care patients, collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans. You will work under the direction of an occupational therapist and be responsible for providing services that promote the health, well-being, and functional ability of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy services to acute care patients under the direction of an occupational therapist.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their physical therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to promote the health, well-being, and functional ability of patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network.
  • Previous experience in acute care or rehabilitation.
