We are actively looking for a proficient Class B Driver with expertise in Moffett Truck operation to join our team in a full-time capacity. We provide a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Ensure timely and precise delivery of customer orders, diligently inspecting all materials prepared for dispatch and managing all documentation in line with company protocols.
- Safely operate the vehicle at all times.
- Properly secure loads to guarantee that materials arrive at their destination intact and in excellent condition.
- Capable of operating various vehicle types safely and conducting pre-trip inspections.
- Report any safety concerns related to the vehicles to management and maintain the vehicle inspection log.
- Keep a DOT log for deliveries exceeding 100 miles.
- Ensure that the vehicle undergoes its annual federal inspection.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, both inside and out.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Must be able to consistently lift materials throughout the day, with some lifting exceeding 100 lbs.
- Load trucks with materials scheduled for delivery in compliance with DOT regulations, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse.
- Move materials and items from receiving areas to their designated locations.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid CDL Class B with air brake endorsement or CDL Class A license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience driving a CDL Class B vehicle or 2 years of experience with a CDL Class A vehicle.
- Current DOT medical certification.
- Clean driving history.
- Experience operating Moffett trucks.
- Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment DOT drug screening.
- Federal certification is required.
