Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled Project Management Associate to oversee a significant construction initiative in the Westchester County region. The selected candidate will manage various project tasks, following guidance from supervisors on soft projects and departmental objectives aligned with the engineering, design, and construction sectors. Utilizing project management methodologies, the Associate will ensure that project scope, timelines, and budgetary constraints are effectively coordinated with planning and operations teams, design consultants, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly updates supervisors and department heads on project status and financial controls.
- Manages engineering, design, construction, renovation, and facility-related projects.
- Oversees design and construction processes to guarantee compliance with corporate standards and contractual obligations, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Develops and maintains intricate project budgets, cash flow assessments, and cost projections, while reviewing purchase orders, change orders, and invoices that significantly influence operational success.
- Identifies and mitigates potential liabilities and risks associated with projects.
- Creates, monitors, and sustains project timelines, ensuring that time-related objectives are achieved.
- Effectively communicates complex concepts, anticipates objections, and persuades stakeholders, including executive leadership, to consider alternative perspectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project or construction management.
- Familiarity with Construction Administration, Infrastructure, Engineered Systems, and Facilities Management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
- Experience with CAD is advantageous.
Compensation: $100,000-$120,000
