Hartford Healthcare Heart & Vascular Institute
This rapidly growing Institute encompasses six acute care hospitals and collaborates with Cardiology Associates of Fairfield County to provide comprehensive cardiac care. Our integrated team of skilled professionals utilizes advanced technology to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Role Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant will:
- Deliver comprehensive care to adult cardiology patients in an outpatient environment, supporting a dynamic Cardiovascular/Electrophysiology program.
- Manage cardiac implantable devices, including pacemakers and defibrillators, in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct evaluations of patients before and after interventions, including patient education, clinical assessments, and medication management.
- Possess a background in cardiology, with a preference for experience in Electrophysiology, particularly in managing patients with arrhythmias and knowledge of relevant drug therapies.
Work Schedule
Full Time – Exempt – 40 hours – Monday through Friday

Qualifications
Advanced Practitioner Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master's Program
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult Geriatric Primary Care (AGPCNP) in Connecticut
