Job Description

At Regions Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled Trust Relationship Specialist to join our Private Wealth Management team. As a key member of our team, you will provide general and clerical administrative support to our trust department, relieving our team members of clerical, administrative, and business details.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to routine customer and internal account inquiries, performing necessary research on complex matters and following up in a timely manner.
  • Account Management: Communicate with clients and internal partners regarding account openings, closings, asset transfers, and fees.
  • Documentation and Filing: Create and maintain proper account documentation and files account-related material according to our prescribed system in a timely manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Process complex Trust transactions in a timely manner.
  • Cash and Asset Distribution: May perform complex cash and asset distributions from account closings.
  • Account Monitoring: Perform standard account monitoring and notify leadership when overdrafts or large balances are discovered.
  • Forecasting and Research: May forecast client cash needs and provide estimates of liquidity needed to the relationship team.
  • Tax Compliance: May perform complex research for tax compliance and asset transfer issues.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all internal and external regulatory requirements, standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Special Projects: May create and organize PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets, attend client meetings with Trust Officers, and perform special projects as assigned.
  • Team Support: May assist and provide guidance to less experienced Specialists.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Five (5) years of Trust or related experience.
  • Skills: Accurate typing, spelling, and grammar skills required.
Preferences
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Experience: Experience in trust administration with a solid understanding of trust office processes.
Skills and Competencies
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in computer software systems, including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and customer service skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $46,274.50 - $59,109.00 USD per year, depending on experience.
