Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Providence Covenant Medical Center. As a Travel Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certification and Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to departmental uniform policies, wearing solid navy blue or hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire as required.
    • Verify certifications for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital, as they may vary.
    • Adhere to unit-specific scrub attire requirements for Women's Services.
  • Therapy and Rehabilitation
    • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, focusing on rehabilitation and therapy.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
    • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Professional Development
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
    • Engage in professional growth opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
    • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
