Job Title: Floor Tech

At Healthcare Services Group, we are seeking a skilled Floor Tech to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing floor maintenance tasks, including dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting of hard surface and carpeted areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform floor maintenance tasks as assigned, following established schedules and protocols.
  • Complete assigned cleaning areas to a high standard, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Recycle soiled linen from patient units and other areas as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in floor maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies.
