About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our surgical team at Billings Clinic Hospital. As a Nurse Practitioner in Hospital Surgery, you will provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgery, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions of care and excellent outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and develop individualized plans of care for patients
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient information accurately and timely in the medical record

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field required; Doctoral degree preferred
  • Current NP licensure in Montana or compact state
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in surgical nursing; DNP within 5 years of hire
  • CPR certification and Basic Life Support training required
