Junior Estimator Position

Marous Brothers Construction, a leading construction firm in the Midwest, is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our Building Groups.

The ideal candidate will assist in researching and preparing accurate summary reports to develop guidelines and precedence for future estimates.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in obtaining scopes of work and pricing from subcontractors & suppliers.
  • Maintain files of working documents for back-up to estimating figures.
  • Assist in monitoring conceptual estimates with actual cost data.
  • Calculate various statistical data, including quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man hour, equipment, etc.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma.
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Understanding of financial practices, accounting policies, and computer-related programs.
  • 0 years of experience.
