Job Title: Regional Behavioral Health Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Behavioral Health Supervisor to join our team at Integrated Services of Appalachian Ohio. As a key member of our Housing Team, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals and families in achieving permanent housing stability through federal, state, and local resources.

About the Role:
  • Supervise and coordinate behavioral health activities of staff through various methods, including team meetings and regular communications.
  • Represent the organization in the community and maintain relationships with community partners.
  • Provide routine support and assistance to staff through individual and group conferences, assistance in analyzing case problems, and in improving their diagnostic and helping skills.
  • Review management reports and case records.
  • Evaluate performance of staff members and recommend appropriate action to the manager.
  • Participate in the review and selection of new staff, including completion of position requisitions, applicant reviews, and interviews.
  • Responsible for implementation and oversight of organizational policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Train new employees in areas such as organizational policy, procedures, and organizational or governmental regulations.
  • May directly provide home and community behavioral health services that are practical, helpful, and collaborative.
  • Manage and organize office operations and act as the point of contact for internal and external business support functions.
  • May provide license supervision and oversight of integrated care plans.
  • Assess or define the strengths and needs of referred individuals and families.
  • Directly provide and coordinate clinical and social services that are problem-focused and build on family and community strengths.
  • Carry out utilization review and quality assurance activities as directed.
  • Maintain necessary documentation, participate in program evaluation, attend team and program planning meetings, cross-systems training, and acquire knowledge of community resources.
  • Meet billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services of Appalachian Ohio.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, education, counseling, psychology, or related field.
  • Licensure is preferred (LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC, PhD, IMFT).
  • Three years of experience providing coordinated supportive services.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Individuals familiar with the use of motivational interviewing and trauma-informed practices preferred.
  • Commitment to a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace required.
  • Demonstrated high degree of cultural awareness.
  • Experience with multi-need individuals and families.
  • Experience with individuals experiencing homelessness, including lived experience, preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of community service systems.
  • Willing to participate in and lead cross-systems team-building activities.
  • Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
  • Experience working within electronic health record systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment.
