Youth Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Youth and Family Therapist at Integrated Services for Behavioral Health.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide direct clinical treatment to youth and families using the Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) model and principles. This includes leveraging strengths, understanding frames, patterns, and increasing mature behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients and families to gather information on behaviors of concern and strengths.
• Work with families to define cultural factors that influence strengths, functioning, and family behaviors.
• Provide individual and family psychotherapy services to support identified needs.
• Develop collaborative partnerships with community resources to meet family needs.
• Engage primary caregivers, family members, and community agency staff in change-oriented treatment.
• Participate in weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress.
• Receive regular training, supervision, and consultation activities to acquire clinical skills.
• Maintain necessary documentation and participate in program evaluation.
• Meet billing productivity requirements.

Requirements:

• Meet requirements for licensure as defined by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board.
• Experience and passion for delivering services to youth and families.
• Demonstrated high degree of cultural awareness.
• Comfortable working with diverse communities.
• Knowledge of or experience engaging with families in the community.
• Experience with multi-need individuals and families.
• Broad knowledge of community service systems.
• Willing to participate in cross-systems team-building activities.
• Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.

• Competitive salary range: $47,609.67 to $71,675.95 per year based on licensure and experience.
