About the Role:

As a Ventilation Care Specialist with AdaptHealth LLC, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional respiratory care to patients requiring ventilator support. This role is perfect for an experienced Respiratory Therapist who desires to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing top-notch patient care.
  • You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing personalized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, including assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to provide high-quality care that meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Foster strong relationships with referral sources, physicians, and other stakeholders to promote AdaptHealth's services and enhance patient engagement.
  • Travel throughout your designated service area to visit patients in their homes, providing hands-on care and guidance as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills, knowledge, and competencies.
  • Adhere to AdaptHealth's Compliance Program and maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Candidates must possess an Associate's degree from an accredited respiratory program and a valid, unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience is required.
  • CPR certification is mandatory, and a valid driver's license is also necessary for this role.

Estimated Salary: $65,000-$80,000 per annum
