Responsibilities

We are seeking an attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation and trial experience, with exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, the rules of evidence, no fault, and trial strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, superior oral advocacy and writing skills, and the ability to manage a caseload with time-sensitive work.

The position is a hybrid role, requiring hours in the office and virtually. We provide a congenial, team-oriented, and professional work environment with skilled support staff.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
  • Active license to practice law in Michigan and membership in good standing with the state bar
  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense, including experience handling No Fault/PIP, Bodily Injury, and Premises Liability litigation
  • Jury trial experience is a plus
  • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
  • Experience working in a paperless environment
  • Eligibility to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work opportunity
