Job Summary

CHS Inc is seeking a Full Time Truck Driver to join our team in Ethan. This is a Monday-Friday, local position with daily home time. Overtime may be expected during our busy spring season.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely pick-ups and deliveries to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service, treating customers professionally and promptly addressing any concerns.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, load securement, and hours of service.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and work environment.
  • Complete daily maintenance inspections and ensure proper equipment maintenance.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Report incidents, accidents, and traffic violations to supervisors immediately.
  • Participate in CHS's random drug and alcohol testing program and Continuous Monitoring Program.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL
  • High School diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Maintain or obtain a CDL and DOT medical card
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to work additional hours and be available for overnight stays and occasional weekends
  • Valid Class A CDL preferred
  • Hazmat, Tanker, Air Brake endorsements preferred
  • Agriculture background preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Bulk liquid, pressure trailer, or forklift experience preferred
