Truck Driver Job Summary

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team in Ethan. This is a Monday-Friday, local position with daily home time. Overtime may be expected during our busy spring season.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely pick-ups and deliveries to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
  • Assist with loading and unloading, as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service, treating customers professionally and promptly addressing their concerns.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, load securement, and hours of service.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete daily maintenance inspections.
  • Ensure proper equipment maintenance, including repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Class A CDL
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to work additional hours, be available for overnight stays, and occasional weekends to meet business demands
  • Valid Class A CDL preferred, Hazmat, Tanker, Air Brake endorsements preferred
