Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and respond to service calls from our Service Resource Center, diagnosing and repairing electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills, consistently communicating with district staff and customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Participate in a scheduled On-call rotation and help train or mentor others on the service team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining truck inventory and adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems.
  • Valid Fire Alarm License - FAL.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
  • Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyser, and commissioning devices.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, perform physical labor, and work in unusual positions.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends, and overnight travel may be required.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service and maintain a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Willingness to obtain NICET certifications.
  • Access Control/Security experience.
