Job Summary

The Regional Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Moses Lake facility by providing technical expertise to the plant operating and maintenance departments. This position is responsible for managing small projects to develop new or existing equipment, processes, instrumentation, and raw materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and align with key stakeholders the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products, or equipment solutions.
  • Prepare and gain alignment on engineering proposals, feasibility studies, and vendor/construction packages.
  • Support the development of new or modified components, products, manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Participate on teams in establishing the appropriate designs, engineering, and execution project constraints.
  • Contribute to the communication of project updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate plan and success criteria to ensure that project and/or system performance meets business objectives for a variety of projects and activities.
  • Research new technology and provide recommendations when required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university.
  • One plus years related experience and/or training.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel within the Columbia Basin and has or can obtain a Driver's License.
  • Excellent project management skills to coordinate project activities at all employee levels with other operating or engineering units to facilitate project completion.
