Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, assisting our doctors with a range of clinical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist doctors with charting, placement of fillings, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
- Perform expanded duties following state regulations and compliance.
- Assist in clinical procedures and treatment, including placing amalgam or composite fillings, adaptation of temporary crowns, removing surgical sutures, and applying topical fluoride treatments.
- Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor's direction, and assure completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
- Enter and update patient treatment plans at the direction of the treating doctor.
- EFDA Certification or on-the-job training required per state requirements.
- Radiography licensure for respective state requirements.
- 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
- CPR Certification is required.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays with the ability to learn new programs as necessary.
