Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, assisting our doctors with a range of clinical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist doctors with charting, placement of fillings, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
  • Perform expanded duties following state regulations and compliance.
  • Assist in clinical procedures and treatment, including placing amalgam or composite fillings, adaptation of temporary crowns, removing surgical sutures, and applying topical fluoride treatments.
  • Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor's direction, and assure completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
  • Enter and update patient treatment plans at the direction of the treating doctor.
Requirements
  • EFDA Certification or on-the-job training required per state requirements.
  • Radiography licensure for respective state requirements.
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
  • CPR Certification is required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays with the ability to learn new programs as necessary.
