**Job Title:** Mental Health Specialist - Physician Position

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist - Physician to join our team at Cross Country Locums. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a dynamic environment, providing top-notch care to patients.

**Estimated Salary:** $250,000 - $300,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

**Job Description:

**We require a seasoned physician with experience working with acute and chronic adult inpatient populations, preferably including forensic population. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. They will also be required to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with colleagues and families, and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Assess and diagnose patients' mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices

**Requirements:

* VA medical license and DEA certification

* BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

* Experience with Cerner Millennium EHR system

* Minimum 3 years of experience in psychiatric settings

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
