Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivating a Positive Restaurant Atmosphere: Create and maintain a vibrant restaurant culture that resonates with both crew members and guests.
  • Community Engagement: Strengthen P. Terry's presence in the local community through effective relationship-building and local marketing initiatives.
  • Team Development: Recruit, interview, and hire skilled Managers and Crew Members to build a robust team.
  • Training and Standards: Ensure ongoing training and development for Crew Members and Managers, while verifying adherence to training standards.
  • Management Oversight: Direct the Management Team by establishing weekly schedules and delegating responsibilities effectively.
  • Operational Success: Oversee the profitable operations of the restaurant, driving sales and performance improvements.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage weekly, monthly, and annual inventories and budgets, while monitoring P&L statements.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and perform preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment and facilities.
  • Food Safety: Implement and uphold safe food handling practices.
  • Vendor Relations: Act as the primary contact for all restaurant vendors and corporate communications.
  • Meetings Participation: Attend scheduled meetings to align with corporate objectives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of **2-3 years** of experience in a General Manager role.
  • Experience in a **Drive-Thru** setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a **fast-paced, high-volume** environment.
  • Hands-on leadership experience in both **Back of House (BOH)** and **Front of House (FOH)** operations.
  • Possess a positive, competitive mindset with a focus on solutions.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to **40 pounds**.
  • Willingness to work extended shifts, standing and walking for prolonged periods.
  • Capability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for items at various heights.
