Job Overview: Aerotek is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Engine Technician to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. As a Diesel Engine Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues in diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems. You will also perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, heavy haul trucks, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems
  2. Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, heavy haul trucks, etc.
  3. Prepare work orders and order parts
  4. Fuel equipment and maintain daily log
  5. Maintain a clean and orderly work area and meet other housekeeping needs
