Job Title: Bio-Process Associate, 2nd Shift

Location: Onsite

Duration: 6 months initial (potential extension/potential right to hire)

Shift: 5p- 5a

Shift Rotation: 3 days on (Sat, Sun, Mon), 2 days off (Tues, Wed), 2 days on (Thurs, Fri), 3 days off

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Bio-Process Associate to join our team in a 2nd shift role. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating control systems and processes in our Biotechnology Pilot Plants.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate control systems and processes in Biotechnology Pilot Plants as assigned.
  • Prepare process buffers and reagents.
  • Clean equipment and maintain area in clean and orderly fashion.
  • Recognize and report safety, maintenance, and operational variances to area management.
  • Communicate status of operations to area management in a timely manner.
  • Follow detailed SOPs and batch records.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP and safety requirements.
  • Maintain files, records, and equipment.
  • Record data, log activities, and monitor processes.
  • Achieve and maintain proficiency through training.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 1 year process operations experience.
  • A.A.S. or B.S. degree is preferred.
  • Prior job-related experience required along with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with general chemistry, mathematics, microbiology, and cGMP clean room operations is a plus.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Prior experience following and documenting written instructions is required.
  • Committed team player prepared to work in and embrace a team-based culture.
  • Shift work and overtime required.
