Job Title: Occupational TherapistAbout the Role:

At Sodus Rehab & Nursing Center, we are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their full potential and regain independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess residents' rehabilitation therapy needs and develop personalized plans of care.

• Conduct Occupational Therapy evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

• Establish and implement effective Occupational Therapy plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care.

• Provide evidence-based Occupational Therapy treatments and modalities to promote recovery and independence.

• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

• Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and unlicensed staff.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current, unencumbered NYS license as a Registered Professional Occupational Therapist

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy

• Geriatric experience preferred

• Current, unrestricted driver's license and dependable transportation

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
