Key Responsibilities:

In the role of Department Assistant & Parts Counterperson, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Performing various administrative tasks such as data entry and managing customer payments.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
  • Assisting customers both in-person and over the phone to identify and procure necessary parts for their equipment.
  • Utilizing literature, software, and parts knowledge to recommend suitable parts or services.
  • Managing the shipping and receiving of parts and collaborating with team members across locations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Proficient typing and computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in parts counter operations or relevant mechanical/service background.
  • Familiarity with parts inventory management.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with customers via phone and in person.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation: $16-19/hr (Based on Experience)
