Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, perform various tasks, and contribute to the overall success of our pharmacy team.

• Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers, to process transactions and manage inventory.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations and customer service.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
