Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmacy Care Coordinator to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a Senior Pharmacy Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our Supervisor and a team of pharmacy care coordinators in multiple locations. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting provider-based objectives assigned to ensure a Center of Excellence Operations model, creating and maintaining daily reports, and helping to facilitate the completion and submission of prior authorizations, handle images, and enter data. You will also execute strategy, partner with Operations and Sales and other departmental leaders to develop process, training, monitor key metrics, and provide mentoring and coaching. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service skills when working with Providers and Provider Outreach agents, ensure providers are supported by following escalation through to finish, and ensure communication between operations and sales is completed. You will work as a liaison with operations partners letting them know of any patient or practice issues/concerns. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma/GED (or higher) or 10+ years of customer service experience. You will also need 1+ years of customer service experience, 1+ years of pharmacy-related experience, and a current and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License or ability to obtain if required by state law. Prior authorization experience, IRIS experience, and MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) are also preferred.

Location:

This role is available to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. and is open to California, Colorado, Nevada, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Washington, or Washington D.C. residents only.

Hourly Range:

The hourly range for this role is $19.47 to $38.08 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
