Position Summary:

The Electrical Engineer creates technical solutions to meet market needs using components, circuits, and firmware while utilizing generally accepted engineering methods and practices.

The level of work is typically in the medium range, not only in complexity but also in scope and duration of tasks.

The Electrical Engineer works independently or under the direction of more senior engineers and is able to give work direction to junior engineers and technicians.

The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, curious about learning, and have shown a solid growth progression in electronics design in the early stages of their career.


Key Responsibilities:
Designs and creates power system and electronic solutions, including research, concept creation, test firmware development, prototype creation, and refinement. Utilizes Altium for schematic and PCB layout, Solidworks for mechanical layout and documentation, and Oracle for BOM creation. Ensures designs meet global safety and EMC regulatory requirements and communicates with internal and external customers. Collaborates with design teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, product managers, and sourcing. Integrates, documents, and tests designs over the product development lifecycle. Participates in design reviews and supports Lean Business Enterprise initiatives for continuous process improvement and waste elimination.
