Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely and accurate completion of I-9 employment eligibility verifications for University employees
- Collaborate with HR partners to design and implement processes for employment eligibility verification and hiring/onboarding
- Develop and deliver training to HR professionals on employment eligibility requirements and I-9 procedures
- Monitor I-9 case status and conduct internal audits to resolve compliance issues and mitigate liability
- Generate reports and provide data on employment eligibility and compliance, making recommendations for process improvements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to perform accurate, detail-oriented work and manage multiple tasks
Experience with E-Verify, I-9, and employment visa processes, as well as knowledge of human resources policies and procedures, is highly desirable.
