Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Southwestern Vermont Health Care. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine radiographic examinations using computed tomography equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine radiographic examinations using computed tomography equipment
  • Operate and maintain computed tomography equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and implement procedures for the safe handling and use of computed tomography equipment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for patients and families
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • ARRT (R) board certification required
  • Eligibility to sit for ARRT (CT) or board certification required
  • Prior hands-on clinical radiology experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • ARRT (CT) registered within 2 years of employment required
  • Valid Vermont State Office of Professional Regulation Radiography license required
  • BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire
