Job Summary:

The Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for performing routine radiographic examinations. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine radiographic examinations using computed tomography (CT) scanners

Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and examination results

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment

Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in CT technology and imaging techniques

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required

ARRT (R) board certification required

Eligibility to sit for ARRT (CT) or board certification required

Prior hands-on clinical radiology experience in a hospital setting preferred

ARRT (CT) registered within 2 years of employment required

Valid Vermont State Office of Professional Regulation Radiography license required

BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire
