About the Role:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our client, a leading industry player. This includes the production of financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and implementation of sound financial controls to mitigate risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end close, properly accounting for all income and expenses.
- Analysis and challenge of financial results, including variance analysis.
- Support accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
- Maintenance of accounting systems, charts of accounts, and cost centers.
- Compliance with local, state, and federal reporting and tax filing requirements.
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis as required.
- Support ad-hoc projects and change activity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Current knowledge of accounting processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including lookups, pivot tables, data manipulation, and presentation of data.
