Optician - Part-Time

About the Role:

Warby Parker is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Licensed Optician to join our team of in-house optical experts. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping customers see the world in a new light.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs, providing expert advice and guidance on prescription terminology and product offerings.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with precision and accuracy.
• Check finished eyewear to ensure it meets our optical standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with your team to deliver exceptional customer service and implement best practices for sales and customer service.
• Represent our brand, educating others about our values and mission.

Requirements:

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
• Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries.
• Effective communicator, able to break down technical terms for customers.
• Dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and making a positive impact.
• Adaptable and energetic, with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
